Torbie - Trixie - Medium - Adult - Female - Cat
Trixie is a stunningly beautiful girl who has a personality to match. This lovely lady adores laps and will sit for as long as she possibly can on her foster mom's lap. If she isn't on her lap, she'll be cuddled up right next to her foster mom. This girl has a diesel engine purr and loves to give Eskimo kisses! She has a tiny little meow that is absolutely adorable. She adores other cats and even likes dogs.
This amazing girl was found next to a dumpster in a parking lot and she'd been there for some time. She loves people but is a bit scared of new people. Give her a little time and. Trixie purrs constantly and once she knows you, will be a lap cat. Her favorite position is upside down so her head is facing the person. She's super playful and loves any type of toy although a wand with a long piece of fleece is her current favorite.
Trixie is FIV+ and in good health. Remember, FIV positive cats can live long, healthy lives and it's very difficult for other cats to catch. But it sounds scary, so makes it harder for great cats like Trixie to find forever homes. When in fact, as long as your cats are fixed and don't get into terrible fights causing deep bite wounds, they can't catch it from Trixie.
Trixie is about 4 years old, spayed, and has tested negative for Feline Leukemia.
Please bear in mind, that we take several applications on each of our adoptables, and the best match possible is made in both the interest of the animal and the adopter. There is no such thing as 'first come, first serve' when it comes to our adoption process. It is deliberate and careful, as the animal you adopt is your responsibility for the duration of his or her lifetime.
Our Adoption Area is LIMITED to Philadelphia and the IMMEDIATE surrounding suburban counties . We DO NOT adopt out of state.
