I am Meatball, a handsome tuxedo kitty rescued from the streets of South Philly. I am about 10 months old and am 8 pounds of pure LOVE! I get along with other kitties and don't mind doggies. I am EXTREMELY affectionate and just LOVE rubs under my chin and behind my ears! I am currently being fostered by a nice lady who saw me wandering the streets and started feeding me. She took me to get neutered and examined at PAWS. She is now fostering me through PAWS. I tested negative for FIV/FELV and Rabies. I was given the Rabies and FVRCP vaccine as well as Frontline. Can you find it in your heart to bring me into your home and love me?? I am living in a nifty bedroom with all I could ever ask for: bed, tent, toys, food, water - this is a far cry than what I am used to living in the streets. You will need to complete the PAWS adoption application and pay the $50.00 adoption fee. PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization. PAWS pulls at-risk animals from the City of Philadelphia's animal control shelter and adopts them out, either from our adoption center (located at 2nd and Arch Streets), from one of our adoption locations at area PETCO and PetSmart stores, or from our network of foster homes.
PAWS is dedicated to saving the lives of Philadelphia's homeless, abandoned and unwanted animals and is working to make Philadelphia a city in which every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home.

PAWS' Adoption Center in Old City is open Monday-Friday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 11a.m.-7p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please reference this animal's ID NUMBER when inquiring about this pet.
All animals adopted from PAWS are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. Adoption fees are as follows: $150 for dogs older than 1 year, $200 for puppies under 1 year, $50 for cats over 6 months of age, and $75 for cats under 6 months of age.
